Space Description
The venue is a railway arch divided into 2 main spaces: a bar arch with seating and couches, and a performance arch. The bar is located at the back of the venue between the arches. There are no doors separating the spaces, so while the seating space will be slightly quieter, it will still be loud if music is being played in the other arch.
The space is step free and there is a level entrance. There is a wheelchair accessible serving station at the bar. There is one gender-neutral, wheelchair-accessible toilet, and 3 gender neutral toilet cubicles. There are no urinals.
There is a mezzanine up a set of stairs to the right of the bar, which can be used by guests as a viewing deck. There is also a green room for musicians on the mezzanine. There is a small green room on the ground floor of the performance arch for performers who can't get up the stairs.
There is an outside smoking area with a few picnic tables in front of the venue. This area is 'no drinks outside' from 1 hour before the event.
There is no cloakroom available, but there are plenty of benches, chairs and tables to leave your things on, as well as coat hooks throughout the bar arch. Please note that these are not supervised and we recommend keeping an eye on any valuables.
The maximum capacity of the venue is 150 people standing. For our seated events we usually have around 60 people, and seating can vary from fold-out chairs to benches to bar stools.
